The Austin hotel, nestled a few steps from the entertainment district of Austin, is 1.8 miles from State Capitol vista. The property is located in the very heart of Austin, 1.9 miles from Zilker Zephyr Miniature train station.

The hotel is situated around 10 minutes by car from Zilker Metropolitan Park.

1214 S 1st / Gibson bus stop is also situated only a few minutes from South Congress Hotel.
